Just to save you some time reading through the Research I have posted here; the bottom line is that the ratio of school psychologists keeps dropping every year. When this report was made, here are the results.
The national ratio of students per school psychologist was 1,065 to 1 in 2023–2024. This was a
5.5% decrease from a ratio of 1,127 to 1 in 2021–2022.
More than two thirds of U.S. territories decreased their ratio of students to school psychologists
(i.e., had fewer students per school psychologist) from 2022–2023 to 2023–2024.
Maybe its just me but considering the rise in violence among youth; the fact that school shootings are barely even news anymore and everyone is wondering why each generation is more violent than the one before. Why in the name of God would we reduce the number of psychologists in schools???????

As you can see the majority of the abuse occurs by the time a child is 7. If we do not intervene earlier we will have NO effect on their futures.
